Golden Moments: Ride for the Moments That Matter Most

LoToJa is more than a race. It is a day of endurance, sacrifice, preparation, support, and purpose. Every rider knows what it means to keep going when the road is long and the climb is hard.

For families facing cancer, the road can feel just as long.

Golden Moments was created to help families facing cancer experience meaningful time together — birthday celebrations, shared experiences, special outings, and simple moments that become lasting memories.

Golden Moments was inspired by Goldie, a mother and friend whose life reminded us that the simplest moments are often the ones that matter most. One ordinary day spent cheering, laughing, and being with her children became a memory they would carry forever. That memory became the beginning of Golden Moments.

This year, LoToJa riders, families, and supporters are invited to help create Golden Moments for families facing cancer. Donations made through this page are securely processed by the Huntsman Foundation, and 100% of donations made through Golden Moments go directly to Huntsman to help families create moments that matter most.

Golden Moments will also be introducing gold bracelets that say “Ride for the Moments.” Riders and supporters can wear a bracelet in honor of someone they love, someone they have lost, or someone currently facing cancer. Read more here.

Whether you are racing, riding, supporting a cyclist, or cheering from the sidelines, you can help give a family something cancer cannot take away — a moment of joy, connection, and love.

Please donate today, read Goldie’s story, and help create a Golden Moment for a family facing cancer.

Because the moments matter most.
