The Huntsman 5K is not timed, but will have clocks along the 5K route. The Huntsman 5K is a non-competitive and family-friendly fun run (or walk) to support cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Where does the money go?
100% of all funds raised go to support research at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. By funding efforts to better understand the beginnings of cancer and more effectively treat cancer, you help relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors, and their families when you give. Cancer patients, caregivers, and donors are encouraged to come together in a myriad of ways to fight cancer individually and collectively through fundraising programs and events like the Huntsman Sports Festival.
How do I raise funds?
A personal fundraising page is created when you sign up to run or walk in the Huntsman 5K, and it’s a great tool to track donations and progress towards your goal. Visit our TOOLKIT for tips and ideas that have helped other fundraisers.
Are gifts made through my fundraising page tax deductible?
Yes, Huntsman Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donors will receive an emailed receipt at the time of their gift.

How will the courses be marked?

The road portion of the 10K course will be marked with pink route arrows on the road.
