Huntsman Challenge FAQs

We have answers to all of your questions! If you can’t find the answers here, please email [email protected] or give us a call at 801-584-5800.

Where does the money go?

One hundred percent of funds raised support the lifesaving work at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. By funding efforts to better understand the beginnings of cancer and more effectively treat cancer, you help relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors, and their families.

Are gifts made through the Huntsman Challenge website tax deductible?

Huntsman Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donors will receive an emailed receipt at the time of their gift. If you do not get an email, check your spam folder, then contact us at [email protected]

Can alumni participate in the Huntsman Challenge?

Any alum can join in their undergraduate chapter’s team, or start their own for their alumni chapter. To start a new team separate from the chapters found on this website, contact us at [email protected].

How can chapters submit funds from special events outside of the Huntsman Challenge website?

Two ways: submit funds directly to your university or team page via credit card, or mail a check to Huntsman Cancer Foundation, 500 Huntsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108.

When are donations due to count toward this school year, or to be eligible for the Huntsman Retreat of Excellence (20K, 50K, and 100K Clubs)?

In order to attend the Huntsman Retreat of Excellence, all chapters must submit their money by May 15. If you have any events after May 15 or need more time, just let us know.
