What do I get when I join the Ride on Dads Tour De Lava?

When you register for the Ride on Dads Tour De Lava, you'll receive an event shirt and entrance into the event.

How can I help raise funds or donate?

A personal fundraising page is created when you sign up for the Ride on Dads Tour De Lava event, and it’s a great tool to track donations and progress towards your goal. Visit our FUNDRAISERS TOOLKIT for tips and ideas that have helped other fundraisers.

1. When you register, you also will be creating a fundraising page, to share with family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to collect donations and raise funds for cancer research.

2. You can also donate to someone else’s fundraising page. Every donation counts, so find a friend or family member who has an active fundraising page and donate to their fundraising campaign.

Where does the money go?

100% of all funds raised go to support research for prostate cancer at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. By funding efforts to better understand the beginnings of cancer and more effectively treat cancer, you help relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors, and their families when you give. Cancer patients, caregivers, and donors are encouraged to come together in a myriad of ways to fight cancer individually and collectively through fundraising programs and events like Ride on Dads.

Are gifts made through my fundraising page tax-deductible?

Yes, Huntsman Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donors will receive an emailed receipt at the time of their gift.
