Dear Friends,

I am back for my 19th Season as a Huntsman Hero. My event this year will be the Napa Valley 1/2 Marathon on March 2, 2025. 

March 1, 2025 is the 25th anniversary of my brother-in-law, Ed's  passing away at the age of 44 ,  after his valiant 2 year battle with colon cancer. 

Too many family members and friends continue to hear the words " You have cancer". This is one of the reasons why I have returned season after season.  Because of your generous support and encouragement year after year, there have been amazing breakthroughs in cancer research and treatments. Some of the trials when I first started as a Huntsman Hero, have been put to great use and extending and saving lives for years now.

You have given HOPE to so many! You have given patients and their families 1 more:  1 more holiday to spend with loved ones and create beautiful memories, 1 more Birthday , 1 more anniversary or special family event to celebrate.

Together, We are A REASON TO HOPE to cancer patients and their families! I am humbled by your generous support and encouragement over the past 19 seasons! 

I am back again this season to celebrate with those who have defeated their cancers . You encourage me to continue running and voluntering and spread HOPE.  I am back to encourage those who are currently battling cancer and remind them that they aren't fighting this battle alone.  I am back once again to remember those who battles with cancer have ended , but not the way we hoped. Your valiant fight continues to inspire me to return , year after year.

I've joined the Huntsman Heroes team for the as a Virtual Hero to raise money for cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute. This year, 1.9 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States. By fundraising and participating in this event, and with your support, we can make a difference in our shared goal of a cancer-free future.
