DEAR DAN AND MARIAN 2025 HUNTSMAN CANCER RESEARCH FRIENDS,

You all know the story...the stories!  Many of you have personally carried a starring role, and the rest a "Best Supporting Actor/Actress" role in the life altering, un-asked for saga of CANCER.  Let's face it... it is a most unwanted role to have to play.  

Marian has personally played the role.  Her siblings have played the role. My father played the role to his grave.  We ALL know someone who has been an unwitting victim of the awful monster we call CANCER!

You all know us.  You have all participated in one way or the other over the years to support our efforts to find answers to end Cancer.  Great progress has been made in recent years.  Our son-in-law passed away many years ago from Stage 4 melanoma; had he been diagnosed today, he may well have beaten the odds.  We know you have similar stories to tell.

Our dear friend Jeff Warren who single-handedly started the Ride From Reno event, doing that ride alone for several years until a number of us, his friends joined him, is also now a victim of his cancer and its treatment, having passed away in 2023.

So, again I join with a number of my biking friends to RIDE FOR CANCER RESEARCH in conjunction with the Huntsman Sportsfest, the event which has now supplanted the Ride From Reno, and then the Huntsman 140.  This year we not only ride 140 miles during the Sportsfest, but are tacking on a "Ride To Rexburg" the following week.
