I am a myeloma doctor that is passionate about quality of life, less is more approaches, supportive care and evidence based medicine.
Philantrophy is what has allowed us to study approaches that would not be supported by pharmaceutical companies, such as non-pharmacological approaches to keeping patients with smoldering myeloma safe off therapy, and optimizing diarrhea during autologous transplant.
Your support would take us a long way. The work we do is mostly unfunded and relies on philantrophy.

Huntsman Cancer Institute's mission is to understand cancer from its beginnings, to use that knowledge in the creation and improvement of cancer treatments, to relieve the suffering of cancer patients, and to provide education about cancer risk, prevention, and care.
Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah is a nationally recognized research center and treatment hospital in Salt Lake City. We serve patients with all types of cancer, who come from throughout the Mountain West, including Utah and parts of Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming.
