New this year! Huntsman SportFest is the first ride in the Utah Triple Crank. This award recognizes those who successfully finish the Huntsman SportsFest 140-mile, Iron Lung Ride, and LoToJa as an individual all in the same year! Huntsman SportsFest is excited to be one of the three events starting this year. That’s almost 450 miles that support cancer research! 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

If you wish to participate, please sign up on the Utah Triple Crank website and register for each event:

    1. Huntsman SportsFest on June 8, for the 140-mile distance
    2. Iron Lung on July 20
    3. LoToJa on September 7, as an individual (can be race or ride)

LoToJa’s official lottery is closed, but the Huntsman Heroes fundraising team has been re-opened for anyone wishing to participate. It will close on Wednesday, May 15. 

*Each LoToJa Huntsman Hero has a $1,000 fundraising minimum in order to participate. Read more about the team and how to register to ride as a Huntsman Hero.

HOW TO ADVANCE

At the Finish Line of the Huntsman SportsFest, there will be a table where riders will check in with us to let us know they completed the 140 distance to advance forward in the Utah Triple Crank. The entire 140-mile distance must be completed to qualify.

Need a Ride to the Salem Start Line?

New this year — Shuttle to Salem for 140-, and 105-mile riders starting in Salem! The shuttle will be reserved for the first 44 riders to who sign up. Reserve your spot on the shuttle to Salem, UT. The cost for Huntsman SportsFest Fundraisers of $250 or more is $30; For non-fundraisers, the cost is $80.

To provide this shuttle service, 22 or more spots must be sold before May 15. After May 15, our team at Huntsman Cancer Foundation will contact you for payment. Please reserve your spot early! You will receive notice if 22 spots are not sold before May 15, and the shuttle service will be unavailable for 2024. 

HOW IT WORKS
Bike Check-In: Riders must check in and load their bike at Packet Pick-up on Friday, June 7, between 4 pm and 7 pm. Bikes will be secured in an enclosed trailer and placed in individual racks for transportation. The trailer will be padlocked overnight and driven to Salem by HCF staff. Riders will receive a ticket to retrieve their bike and will take their front wheel with them.

Rider Arrival: Riders will load the charter bus from Fort Douglas on the University of Utah campus on Saturday, June 8, between 3:45 am and 4:00 am. The exact location will be announced in May. Riders will arrive in Salem, UT, at approximately 5:10 am, and it will take 40 minutes to retrieve their bike and
