Huntsman Cancer Institute's mission is to understand cancer from its beginnings, to use that knowledge in the creation and improvement of cancer treatments, to relieve the suffering of cancer patients, and to provide education about cancer risk, prevention, and care.
Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah is a nationally recognized research center and treatment hospital in Salt Lake City. We serve patients with all types of cancer, who come from throughout the Mountain West, including Utah and parts of Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming.

We have joined the Huntsman Heroes team for the Salt Lake City Marathon to raise money for cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute. This year, 1.9 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States. By fundraising and participating in this event, and with your support, we can make a difference in our shared goal of a future free from cancer.
