How much does it cost to participate?
There is no cost to join the Huntsman World Senior Games Huntsman Heroes team.
Are there incentives if I fundraise?
Yes!
- $500 - Huntsman Heroes Jersey and your $80 Huntsman World Senior Game Fee refunded and covered by HCF
- $1,000 - Huntsman Heroes team Jacket + all items in the $500 level
I have reached or exceeded the $500 minimum fundraising. How do I get the refund for my $80 Games fee?
Refunds will be issued from the Huntsman World Senior Games in September. A staff member will be contacting you from HCF to let you know when that will take place.
Where does the money go?
100% of all funds raised go to support the mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) in Salt Lake City, UT. By funding efforts to better understand the beginnings of cancer and more effectively treat cancer, you help relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors, and their families when you give. Cancer patients, caregivers, and donors are encouraged to come together in a myriad of ways to fight cancer individually and collectively through fundraising programs and events like the Huntsman World Senior Games.
How do I raise funds?
A personal fundraising page is created when you sign up to be a Huntsman Heroes team member for the Huntsman World Senior Games. It is a great tool to track donations and progress towards your goal. Visit our TOOLKIT for tips and ideas that have helped other fundraisers.
Are gifts made through my fundraising page tax deductible?
Yes, Huntsman Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donors will receive an emailed receipt at the time of their gift.
