Thank you for visiting my Huntsman Sportsfest fundraising page!

In 2021, I was diagnosed with a very early stage of multiple myeloma — a blood cancer. Since then I've been monitored and receiving treatment at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Because of my early diagnosis, I’ve had the time to research, ask questions, and explore every possible treatment option — including a clinical trial I was recently accepted into at Sloan Kettering in New York. But when I learned that the same trial wasn’t available in Utah due to funding, I knew something had to change.

Now, I’m on a mission — not just to fight for my own future, but to help bring greater access, awareness, and equity in care to patients everywhere, no matter where they live. I'm walking, running, and raising my voice for those who can’t, including my good friend Kara Harris, who is courageously battling a rare form of blood cancer.

Please show your support by walking with me in the 10K this Sat. at Huntsman Cancer Institute's SportsFest. Online registration for the event is closed, but you can register over the phone, call 801 584-5817. You can also register in person at the packet pickup on Fri, June 13 *4 - 7p at 200 Fort Douglas Blvd.

It's a $35 fee to participate, and that's all I expect, please don't feel you need to donate on top of that. Or, if you can't make the event...

I’m challenging everyone I know to give just $25 to support research, access to clinical trials, and better treatment options for blood cancer patients here in Utah...and if you feel the need to give more, I'd be incredibly grateful because every dollar makes a difference — no gift is too small, and no gift is too big.

Let’s walk, run, and rally together to bring hope (and a cure) closer to home!
