Fundraising Progress
End Cancer Together.
Get ready for a day of connection, community, and meaningful impact at Huntsman Cancer Foundation SportsFest on June 13, 2026. SportsFest is a charitable event first and foremost, created to bring people together in support of a shared mission: end cancer together. While movement is part of the day, this event is about participation, not performance. Whether you are pedaling, strolling, quest-ing, cheering from the sidelines, or volunteering, there is a place for everyone to make a difference.
Every dollar raised directly benefits Huntsman Cancer Institute, supporting groundbreaking research, innovative treatments, and cancer prevention efforts that are changing lives every day. Fundraising is not required to participate, but many choose to rally their networks and go the extra mile, knowing that 100% of proceeds fuel hope and progress for patients and families facing cancer.
Join as an individual, bring your family, or gather your friends, coworkers, or company to form a team. You can even direct your fundraising toward a specific type of cancer that is meaningful to you or someone you love. However you show up, your involvement matters. Be part of SportsFest on June 13, 2026. We will end cancer together.

What's Your Why?
"SportsFest is an amazing event that brings survivors, support people, researchers and more together to raise funds to help find a cure. To be able to celebrate with other survivors and their family and friends makes for an emotional but extraordinary day and I love being a part of it."

"Nine years ago I received my diagnosis and was treated at Huntsman Cancer Institute. I received the best and world class care. I want to be involved so patients and families have access to the same outstanding care that I received."
– John M.
"We participate because we know that by riding and fundraising we are directly contributing to a future cure for cancer. This will be our third straight year riding together, and we will continue to ride in the Huntsman Sportsfest because it is hands-down one of the best organized and supported rides in Utah! From day one the organizers have made us feel like family." – Amy and Chris D.
"I have been diagnosed two times with cancer and I will do anything I possibly can to support and help raise funds to find a cure for this ugly disease. Volunteering gives me such a beautiful feeling inside and to think I could be helping someone that might have to go through a diagnosis one day. We all have to do something, the power of one can reach a huge community by just putting time in to help. Besides, it is so fun!"
– Kathy H.
" I want to help my mom and others like her. My mom is my absolute best friend and when she got her diagnosis, I felt like my whole world was turned upside down. Huntsman has brought my family so much hope and comfort." – Noni E.
"Participating in Sportsfest shows our support for anyone in their cancer battle, patient families, and survivors! As a High Fitness instructor, I am passionate about movement. I am also very passionate about raising funds for cancer research. I love being able to combine my two passions and raise funds in my father's honor." – Amy C.
"Believing that a treatment or a cure for cancer is possible, and that someone just needs the resources to help develop it, was incentive enough for me to decide to join and help fundraise!" – Becky P.
How it works
Our Mission
Huntsman Cancer Foundation's sole purpose is to raise funds to support the mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute, which is to understand cancer from its beginnings, to use that knowledge in the creation and improvement of cancer treatments, to relieve the suffering of cancer patients, and to provide education about cancer risk, prevention, and care.
