I've joined the Huntsman Heroes team for the 2025 Salt Lake City Marathon to raise money for cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute in memory of my friend Amy's late husband, Paul Pham. He was treated at Huntsman and after a tough battle of Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, he passed away in May 2023. I met Amy in January of 2024 and immediately admired her incredible strength and unwavering faith. Paul was an avid runner and motivated athlete, so when she asked if I would run the Salt Lake City Half Marathon last year with her in his memory I just couldn't say no. I became a runner that year because of them and I'm honored to run again this year for Paul. 

This year, 1.9 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States. By fundraising and participating in this event, and with your support, we can make a difference in our shared goal of a future free from cancer.
