Last year, my dad was diagnosed with APL (an aggressive form of leukemia). At the Hunstman Cancer Institute, he was provided with a team of incredible nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals who not only kept him alive, but kept his spirits high while fighting (and winning).
As a family, we'd like to dedicate this walk to my dad, to the individuals who saved his life, and to the countless others currently fighting against this deadly disease at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
