Cancer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been blessed to see my mom, dad, and grandma all survive their battles—thanks to the incredible research that’s been done. But recently, I lost someone who was truly special. She was one of the most positive and kind-hearted people I’ve ever met, and she fought cancer for 10 years with a strength I could never put into words. I want to not only fight for her, but those who can no longer fight their battles, saving one cancer patient at a time. I am making the commitment to bring hope to patients and their families by participating in this event, raising money, and doing my part to help treat cancer nationally.
