I was born on the same day my grandma was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a very aggressive form of cancer. While I was too young to remember, hearing stories of how much it impacted our entire family's lives has had a lasting impact on me. She is now almost 20 years in remission, and living her best life.
