Welcome to my Huntsman SportsFest Fundraising Page!
I signed up for Huntsman SportsFest to raise money for Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. By fundraising (and/or participating in this event!), we can make a difference in our shared goal of a cancer-free future.
Multiple myeloma is a cancer of the bone marrow plasma cells and is incurable. Plasma cells make antibodies against infectious agents such as viruses and bacteria. In 2019, an estimated 159,787 people were living with myeloma in the U.S. An estimated 34,470 new myeloma cases may be diagnosed in the U.S. in 2022.
The Multiple Myeloma Program where I work has multiple research projects to fight multiple myeloma. Every step and every dollar makes a difference. With 100% of every donation going to fuel groundbreaking cancer research for multiple myeloma patients, you can be a reason to hope for patients and families I work with every day.
