About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for breast and ovarian cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
The Generation to End Cancer™ in Honor of Mary Hewitt
Mary Hewitt had a fierce, unwavering love for her family—especially her grandchildren. Whether cheering from the sidelines or celebrating their victories, she was always their biggest fan. Her passing from cancer left a hole in our hearts far too soon.
To honor Mary’s memory and help protect other families from experiencing such loss, we’ve chosen to support the Huntsman Foundation. This cause is especially meaningful, as it not only contributes to groundbreaking cancer research, but also uplifts her grandson Connor, who proudly serves as Pro-Consul of the Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Sigma Chi at Ripon College in Wisconsin.
So many of us have been touched by cancer. That’s why we're making the commitment to raise funds and hope—helping patients and their families fight for more time, more love, and more moments together.
Your generosity will directly support the Huntsman Cancer Institute’s mission. 100% of every donation fuels the fight, advancing research, improving treatments, and giving people everywhere a reason to believe.
Thank you for helping us honor Mary, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend—and for being part of a legacy of love, strength, and healing.
