Help Us Become The Generation to End Cancer!
As the Sigma Chi Sweetheart for the Lambda Theta Chapter at the University of Ottawa 🇨🇦, I’m proud to join Sweethearts across North America in uniting to be The Generation to End Cancer™ by supporting the lifesaving work of Huntsman Cancer Institute.
This year, with the support of my sorority, Nu Sigma Pi, we’re excited to take part in Derby Days, a week-long fundraising initiative. Together, the Lambda Theta Chapter and Nu Sigma Pi will be participating, and alongside four Lambda Theta brothers, Dyson Lansing, Benjamin Turcotte, Shazlie Bang, and Anthony Bouchard, we’re looking forward to being part of Derby Through the Decades.
Last year, the Lambda Theta Chapter raised an incredible $17,559.19, including $1,693.25 contributed through Nu Sigma Pi’s participation in Derby Days. 💛 100% of every donation goes directly to advancing Huntsman’s mission and helping those in the fight.
About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for hereditary breast, ovarian, colon, head and neck cancers, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
