About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for breast and ovarian cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
End Cancer
Hi everyone! My name is Maddie Massiatte and I am so excited to be running for Derby Darling in Sigma Chi’s Derby Days this year.
This week, I’m helping raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, which supports cancer research and helps provide care for patients and their families. This cause is especially close to my heart, as I lost my grandma to lung cancer almost five years ago. Watching someone you love go through that changes you, and it’s a reminder of how important continued research and support truly are.
Every contribution goes directly toward making a difference. If you feel led to give, I would be so grateful.
