I came to HCI over 25 years ago because my research is based on understanding cancer family clustering. Utah families have been at the leading edge of cancer gene discovery. I love the family-based design and working with Utah families. We all want to protect the ones we love. Utah is the best place on earth to study families and make new discoveries to prevent cancer! 

I signed up for Huntsman SportsFest to raise money for Huntsman Cancer Institute. This year, 1.9 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States.
