This week our chapter is going all in as a member of the philanthropy committee for the Sigma Chi's Epsilon Zeta chapter at Florida State. I've had the privilege of helping to organize derby days 2026 outbound fundraising and I could tell you firsthand that the energy and commitment behind this effort are real our chapter set a goal of raising $100,000 for the Huntsman Cancer foundation and we're not treating that as a goal we're treating it as the standard cancer doesn't take a week off so neither are we every single dollar donated goes towards fighting funding ground breaking research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute bringing us closer to a world where fewer families have to hear the words "it's cancer" I'm asking you to be part of something bigger than any one of us whether it's $5 or $500 your donation fuels the fight and proves what a group of committed people can accomplish when they rally behind a cause that matters let's hit this number together.
About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for breast and ovarian cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
