The Generation to End Cancer
The Generation to End Cancer
I lost my father to cancer at 18 years old, just two years ago. An experience I will truly never forget, and I hope not to encounter again anytime soon. It is truly a pain that lasts a lifetime.
Cancer has affected us all. Whether it be a parent, close friend, family member, teacher, coach, mentor, or even yourself, cancer has found its way into all of our lives somehow.
In the U.S., over 56,000 children a year lose one or more parents to cancer before they turn 18. With your help, we can lower that number drastically. The Huntsman Cancer Foundation is fighting to ensure children like me and many others do not have to go through that experience.
We are fundraising for Huntsman Cancer Institute specifically to help support groundbreaking research in cancer genetics, treatment, and prevention; bringing us closer to earlier detection, better outcomes, and ultimately, a cure.
If cancer has impacted your life, I invite you to consider making a donation in honor of someone special. Every contribution helps move us closer to being The Generation to End Cancer.
Thank you all for your time and support!
About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for breast and ovarian cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
