The Generation to End Cancer
The Generation to End Cancer
Yes, that is me in Utah at the Huntsman Cancer Institute!
In my past 4 years at DePaul, Sigma Chi has played a crucial role in developing myself as both a human and a future professional. I've been to both Grand Chapter and Horizions (pictured above), held the roles of Philanthropy Chair, Vice President, President, and am currently one of four derby days chairmen.
In my final quarter at DePaul, nothing would please me more than to break our record and inspire those after me to do the same once I'm gone, just like those before did for me. I lost my Grandpa to Cancer when I was a week old, and while I never got to remember him, I campaign for him and all the other grandparents, parents, sibings or friends that have been lost to this disease.
With your help, we can be one step closer to ridding the world of cancer once and for all. Bit by bit, donation by donation, it takes each and every one of us. Let's live up to our pledge and be the generation to end cancer.
About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for breast and ovarian cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
