Thank you for visiting my fundraising page to help me and my pledge class raise money for women’s cancer research, treatment, and wellness at Huntsman Cancer Institute. I am excited to join thousands of Sigma Chi’s across North America, all uniting together to be “The Generation to End Cancer” by supporting the life-saving work of researchers at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

This mission is especially close to my heart. My grandmother fought cancer twice. The first time, she beat it, and that victory inspired me to start fundraising in my own small way by running lemonade stands around my neighborhood to raise money for research. That gave me hope. During her second battle, I watched her struggle, and sadly, I lost her. Carrying that experience with me makes me want to keep pushing for progress so that others can have better outcomes and families can have more time with their loved ones.

Cancer has touched all of us in some way, and I am making the commitment to bring hope to patients and their families by fundraising and doing my part to help eradicate cancer from the earth.
