Thank you for visiting my fundraising page to help me and my pledge class raise money for women’s cancer research, treatment, and wellness at Huntsman Cancer Institute. I am excited to join in thousands of Sigma Chi’s across North America, all uniting together to be “The Generation to End Cancer,” by supporting the life-saving work of researchers at Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Cancer has affected us all, and I am making the commitment to bring hope to patients and their families by fundraising and doing my part to help eradicate cancer from the earth. Personally, cancer has affected my life in many ways. My mother had stage 2 breast cancer when I was 3 years old. She had a long and tough battle with cancer and I was there to support her everyday after chemo treatment. Her recovery was phenomenal, but it couldn't be done without donations and people helping her out along the way. Along with that, both of my grandmothers had cancer, one having lung cancer and the other who is currently still battling leukemia. Any donation would not only help my family, but all those struggling with cancer right now.
Please consider helping me reach our goal by donating to this page – 100% of every donation is being used to support the mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute. Because of you others can continue to have hope in their fight against cancer.
About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for breast and ovarian cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
